Diet Summary

Since my passion has become dietary wellness, I have put most of my energy into creating a diet plan that works best for YOU. What may work well for me, may not work well for everyone. Therefore, only you will be able to tell which foods give you problems and which ones don't. All I ask is that you monitor these foods and keep a daily journal. It will serve a great purpose down the road. Not only will it tell you the foods you have eaten that could be producing symptoms; but it will also show you which foods you eat too much or not enough of. I want to also add a few tips regarding eating, that I found very helpful. They are the following:

  • Remember to chew your food as much as possible to help aid in digestion.
  • Try to eat medium sized meals until you are "almost" full. (once you are full, it means you have already eaten too much and you need room for digestion)
  • Do not drink much liquid while eating. Try to drink your liquids 20 minutes before and/or 20 minutes after a meal. Otherwise, your digestive juices will be diluted and you will not digest your food completely.
  • Take a deep breath between each bite. This will keep you from eating too fast.
  • Enjoy your food. Your whole body will benefit from eating delicious foods. Your brain and digestive processes work together and the more you enjoy your food, the better your digestion and mood will be.
I would suggest you mark the following page links down, print them out, and follow them as close as you can. Of course, as with anything there will be exceptions. But for the most part, the information I am about to share will be the best information I have to offer. It will literally transform you into a happier, healthier person. You will begin to learn more about your body than you ever have and you will also learn to appreciate many things that you have taken for granted for so many years. Do not look at this diet plan as a burden (like I did). Look at it as an opportunity to lose weight, gain energy, and look healthier than ever before.
